Peter Moser is PhD from the University of Bern and Associate Researcher at the Department of Social, Economic and Environmental History at the Institute of History at the University of Bern. He is founder (2002) and since then director of the Archives of Rural History (AHR) in Bern, a scientific institution engaged in historical research as well as archiving sources. Since 2010 he is Co-editor of the Jarhbuch für Geschichte des ländlichen Raumes-Rural History Yearbook in Austria. From 2009-2019 he was Chairman of the Swiss Rural History Society (SRHS). Since 2010 he acts as Treasurer and member of the Management Committee of the European Rural History Organisation (EURHO) (www.ruralhistory.eu), and since 2017 he is President of the European Rural History Film Association (www.ruralfilms.eu).

Investigador en el Departamento de Historia Social, Económica y Ambiental del Instituto de Historia de la Universidad de Berna. Es fundador (2002) y desde entonces director de los Archivos de Historia Rural (AHR) en Berna, una institución científica dedicada a la investigación histórica y al archivo de fuentes. Desde 2010 es coeditor del Jarhbuch für Geschichte des ländlichen Raumes-Anuario de Historia Rural en Austria. De 2009 a 2019 fue presidente de la Sociedad Suiza de Historia Rural (SRHS). Desde 2010 actúa como Tesorero y miembro del Comité de Dirección de la Organización Europea de Historia Rural (EURHO) (www.ruralhistory.eu), y desde 2017 es presidente de la Asociación Europea de Cine de Historia Rural (www.ruralfilms.eu).
